Yesterday there was a Duffy assembly and two people came and they were peter and Mary from kippenberger. They told us a story and some people had to act it. My favourite was when two boys had to be the old lady.

I read the story 'Fishing off the Wharf' today. After I had talked about the story with Mrs Anderson I used my book to help me find the answers, then we looked up some facts about herrings and put the facts in our own words.
